The Office of Insurance Regulation announces a hearing to which all persons are invited.

GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: American Family Insurance Mutual Holding Company has submitted an application for a proposed merger with Main Street America Group Mutual Holdings, Inc. and the indirect acquisition of Main Street America Assurance Company, Main Street America Protection Insurance Company, NGM Insurance Company, and Old Dominion Insurance Company, pursuant to section 628.715, Florida Statutes. For more details about the proposed transaction, the Office of Insurance Regulation will be activating a webpage to provide the public with relevant information. The webpage will be available via a link on the Office of Insurance Regulation’s homepage at www.floir.com.

Paragraph 628.715(2)(b), Florida Statutes, requires the Office of Insurance Regulation to hold a public hearing to allow public comment on the proposed acquisition. Input from the insurer as well as interested parties will be received at this public hearing. If you are unable to attend this public hearing, please forward your comments to the Office of Insurance Regulation at AmericanFamilyHearing@floir.com. After the hearing concludes, the record will remain open for 10 days to allow for additional comments.
